Anticuchos – Peruvian Kebabs

Anticuchos are savory meat kebabs. The name comes from Quechua, the native language spoken in Peru. Anticucho is the Quechua word for “cut stew meat.” Any type of meat can be marinated in Peruvian spices and grilled on the kebabs. The most popular type of Peruvian Anticuchos are made with beef heart, which is very tender. Sometimes Anticuchos are served with boiled potato or corn on the end.
